| Deposits: A £100/ 130 euro deposit, by cheque or direct
transfer, per week booked is required, and should be sent with the completed
and signed booking form. Deposits will be refunded in full if we cannot
accept the booking for any reason. The booking will not be confirmed until
receipt of the deposit.
Balance of payment: The balance of payment will be due eight weeks prior to your arrival or upon booking if the period requested is less than eight weeks prior to your arrival. Non payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation. Cancellation: Cancellation before eight weeks arrival = loss of deposit. Cancellation within eight weeks = loss of whole fee, unless we are able to re-let the property, in this case an 80% refund will be given. Insurance: A holiday booking forms a legally binding contract. In your own interest, we strongly recommend you obtain insurance for cancellation, accident, personal property, sickness and car breakdown. Arrival and Departure times: The property will be available to you by 2pm on the day of your arrival and until 10am on the day of your departure. Changeover days are usually on Saturday unless agreed otherwise. All the properties are cleaned before letting, however you are responsible for keeping and leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. Parking: There are parking facilities availabe on site. Damage: A separate payment for 120 Euros (Not sterling) against damage / breakages or a need for excessive cleaning is to be also paid upon arrival, before access is granted to your accommodation. This payment will be reimbursed to the client in full directly at the end of your holiday once the proprietors have inspected the property. The hirer will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property and must either make good any such loss or damage before leaving - or appropriate reimbursement will be collected from the above 120 Euros. Clients are responsible at all times for the safety and behaviour of their children. Any damage or breakages must be notified to the proprietors immediately. Cleaning: The property must be left clean as found, including the cooker, refrigerator and all other equipment. On the inspection, if it is found that excessive cleaning is required, it will be charged at an hourly rate and deducted from your refundable 120 euros damages payment. Linen changes will be carried out once a week at a cost of €25. Letting Conditions: The maximum sleeping capacity for each gite must not be exceeded under any circumstances. This is up to 6 adults for the upper gite and upto 4 adults and one baby/infant (sleeping in a cot) for the lower gite. No tent, caravan or camping car may be set up within the boundaries of the property without special permission. Assisted Disabled access: We have tried to design the ground floor gite to take into account some of the requirements of disabled holidaymakers. We cannot guarantee that the gite will suit your requirements exactly and as such ask that you contact us to discuss your needs and ensure that we can provide you with the facilities you wish to enjoy your holiday. Swimming Pool: Use of the swimming pool is shared between guests and the owners of the property. There is no life guard provided and guests must ensure that they and anyone in their care is properly supervised and acts in a safe and responsible manner whilst using the pool. It is requested that people smoke outside of their accommodation. Unforeseen events - FORCE MAJEUR: We cannot accept liability in any circumstances where performance of the letting contract is prevented by reason of: War or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions, acts of God, closure of ports or airports, epidemics, government action or any similar events outside our control. |
